Welcome to our wedding website
We are so excited for you to join us at our wedding celebrations in the Elgin Valley, 60 minutes outside of Cape Town. We've set up this website to provide you with all the information you need for the wedding, and for those of you for whom this is a destination wedding, to help you make the most of your trip to South Africa!

GETTING
THERE
TRANSPORTATION
Being a 60 minute drive from Cape Town our recommendation is to hire a car and drive out there yourselves. However, if you're unable to do this and need to get to and from Elgin for the wedding we recommend Christine Hugo, a contact of the family. Please let us know if this is the case and we can pass her details on. If interest is high enough for this a block booking from a central location may be a possibility. Although Uber is great in Cape Town and you could probably get an Uber out to the venue you would struggle to get one back so we do not recommend this!
ACCOMMODATION
One of the things we love about Cherry Glamping is that there's enough accommodation on site for all our guests. All glamping tents are single or double occupancy and we'll be managing the tent allocation, please book in advance using the link below.
We will be staying the nights of the 31st Dec and 1st Jan with a follow up brunch and braai (BBQ) for everyone after the wedding on the 1st. If doable we encourage you to stay both nights.
We understand that glamping may not be for everyone and although we encourage everyone to embrace the venue with us there are a couple of alternative options close by (you will need to have you're own transport).

We are not expecting any gifts, many of you are travelling from far and wide to be with us on our special day and having everyone we love in one place to celebrate is what we want most.
If you still feel the itch to bring a wedding gift, a contribution to our honeymoon will be greatly welcomed - travelling is our favourite thing to do together.
